30 Days of Gratitude: My Phone (Day 21)

Today's post will be a short one, as I'm not sure I have much to say on this topic (but it bears recognition anyway).
My Phone (Day 21)
I'm going to be upfront about this: I am terrible about checking my phone in a timely manner, especially when I am massively busy. I don't understand the 21st century notion of needing to be attached to technology 24/7. If it is an emergency, rest assured I will be in touch with you right away.
Nonetheless, I am grateful for my phone. It allows me to connect with people I don't see often anymore and still hear from them about what is new in their lives. It allows for a personal aspect (as I prefer a phone conversation over a texting conversation any day).
Finally, I am grateful for my phone because it keeps me in the loop about what is happening in our world (especially since I am also terrible about watching the evening news because I'm rarely home at the time it is actually on).
Appreciate the technology, but don't get too attached to it.
